PLANETS

Recently, at daycare, my son started a three-week activity program about the solar system: so, you guessed it, he would come back home with LOTS of questions! He was hooked!! (We even had to show him the Apollo shuttle and the moon landing on YouTube, haha!).

He just couldn’t get enough. Even his room has its own solar system and satellites hung up (as you can see in the picture background).

So I went searching in my “secret” book nook (more on that later): I was sure I had something about planets in there. And, sure enough, I did.

What I like the most about this book is that for a very reasonable price (less than 6$), you get National Geographic quality. Beautiful pictures and maps, true facts… not to many to get bored but just enough to satisfy all those questions being asked. We have read it over and over again for the last two weeks.

The Explore my world series is a great collection for toddlers and preschoolers.
