AUTUMN

After a full week of nice sunshine, clouds have rolled in and rain is on it’s way here near Montreal. Some would say that fall didn’t wait to long to arrive, even though it’s still quite warm outside.

When I took a look outside this morning, I thought it would be the perfect time to get out my fall books. My personal favorite has been, for the last few years, Autumn by Gerda Muller.

This wonderful boardbook is great with babies, toddlers and even preschoolers. No text, only rich and beautifully-detailed illustrations about what fall brings us.

Autumn, by Gerda Muller

I have used this book with my kids since my son was a baby: it’s wonderful to point out and name objects (great for speech development!). Both have been drawn to the book just to look at the illustrations. And now, my sons “reads” it to his little sister!

A great book (and series, since you can also find Winter, Spring and Summer by the same author) for every little one.
